About FRE

FRE incorporates STEM (science, technology, engineering, & math) inquiries into our daily curriculum using the design thinking process. 

We are an IB World School and join our district as a full IB district.  The Primary Years Programme aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.

Frisco Elementary has a strong passion for reaching all learners. Our staff feels that students deserve to believe that they are not only connected and cared for, but are essential, contributing members of their community. We use design thinking as the basis for our projects to appeal to student action and empowerment. 

This deepens our children’s values, not just of citizenship, but their role in improving the planet. Our STEM program builds upon classroom learning to provide real-world experience to apply knowledge, develop career-related skills, and deepen learning.  Our goal is to prepare our students with solutions oriented approaches to improving our world. 

Frisco Elementary takes great pride in helping each individual find their full potential, reflect on and improve strengths and weaknesses, and embrace challenges they meet with positive confidence. This strong, supportive community helps us continue to reach new heights in our unique STEM/IB childhood education.
